The In-House Technical Training Program is EMR’s in-house training initiative designed to address the growing shortage of skilled technical workers across the country.

Inspired by industry challenges and a commitment to workforce development, the BAT Program aims to build technical talent from the ground up. Whether you’re new to the industry or looking to sharpen your skills, BAT offers an immersive, hands-on learning experience that blends practical instruction with EMR’s core values of safety, service, and integrity.

Through structured classroom sessions, guided mentorship, and real-world field training, BAT equips trainees with the knowledge and confidence they need to succeed in a high-demand, high-impact industry. Key Programs: In-House Technical Training

The purpose of the In-House Technical Training Program is to develop fully functional service technicians—not limited to Preventative Maintenance (PM) roles. The program is structured to accommodate varying levels of technical experience through three defined categories:

Intermediate Technician (IT)

Individuals with some trade experience who are not yet ready to perform service calls independently.

Technicians with sufficient trade experience to perform service calls independently.
