Story Of Poolesville Seniors
Poolesville Seniors is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, incorporated as Poolesville Area Senior Center Inc. We are dedicated to creating meaningful programs, events, and opportunities that help seniors stay active, connected, and supported in the Poolesville community. Our work is made possible through grants from Montgomery County and the Town of Poolesville, along with the generosity of individuals, businesses, civic organizations, churches, and community partners. In 2025, Poolesville Seniors was recognized by Montgomery Magazine for Best Senior Programming and Best Senior Center. This honor reflects the dedication of our leadership, volunteers, partners, and community members who help make our programs welcoming, valuable, and accessible.

Event registration is available through the website calendar, weekly blog posts, and the PS Postscript newsletter. Once you complete a registration form, you will receive confirmation with the details needed to attend online or in person.
Who can participate in Poolesville Seniors programs?
Poolesville Seniors primarily serves adults age 50 and older, but many events are open to the broader community.
What happens if I miss an event?
Many Zoom events are recorded and posted to the Poolesville Seniors YouTube channel by the following weekend. Event recaps may also be shared on the blog.

What is the Birthday Club?
The Birthday Club recognizes participants in the weekly PS Postscript newsletter and sends a personal card during their birthday month. To join, email your month and day of birth to [email protected].
